EMERGENCIES
The hospital phone is answered 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
In-hospital emergency care is provided depending upon the doctor's availibility. If the doctor is unavailable, you will be referred to an emergency clinic.
SURGERY
All surgical procedures will be arranged through either the doctor, technicians or the receptionists.
BOARDING
The hospital does provide a boarding service. Any animal to be boarded must have the proper vaccinations and be flea free. If your animal is not a patient of Cortlandt Animal Hospital an office visit is required, along with proof of vaccinations prior to admittance. Charges for boarding are per night, same as surgery.

VISITING
You are always welcome to inspect our facilities. However, when your pet is a patient in the hospital, visiting may cause excitement, disappointment and sometime affect your pet's recovery in an adverse way. If your pet will be in the hospital for a prolonged period of time, or if the doctor feels a visit is beneficial, the doctor will be happy to arrange it.
PAYMENT POLICY
You may pay by cash or check. Our charge accounts are handled through Visa, MasterCard, Discover, American Express and CareCredit. In order to avoid misunderstanding, all fees will be discussed before services are performed. Payment is due at the time services are rendered.
